Job Description
1.) Responsible for preparation and delivery of process calculations, design drawings and other documents for water, wastewater treatment, and air treatment projects.
2.) Aware the requirements for full compliance to local authorities
3.) Conduct process calculations such as treatment unit sizing, pipe or ducting pressure losses for above mentioned projects.
4.) Design PFD, P&ID drawings for these projects.
5.) Select equipment or propose the parameters for selection of equipment such as pumps, fans.
6.) Design the layout and section views of the overall treatment system including process treatment units, equipment, and pipings and ductings with the help of drafters.
7.) Prepare other textual documents in process discipline such as control philosophy, datasheets.
8.) Evaluate technical documents from subcontractors and suppliers.
9.) Coordinate the works with mechanical engineers, and electrical, control and instrument engineers.
10.) Provide technical support to sales and project teams.
11.) Develop or provide design recommendations, value engineering and training to clients or co-workers
12.) Liaising with other departments (Project, QAQC or Commissioning) on schedule and deliverables timeline.
13.) Report to engineering manager.
Requirements:
-A recognized degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or all other process related engineering.
-3 years above work experience in water, wastewater treatment, or air treatment.
-Master degree holders with less experience will be considered.
-Proficiency in CAD, MS office or other design softwares. Strong analytical and problem solving, critical thinking skills.
-Experiences in ultrapure water treatment, air treatment scrubbers, and thermal oxidizers are preferred.
-Good writing and communication skills.
