Job Description

Job Description & Requirements
The core responsibility will be to perform housekeeping and maintenance duties, to ensure security and safety, maintaining the cleanliness of the shelter and to assist in programmes and administrative duties when necessary. The staff will work closely with the residential team to ensure that the environment remains safe, conducive and well-maintained at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Clean and set up room and dormitories for new admissions and after exit.
2. Conduct routine room checks and ensure room cleanliness.
3. To support the RS in sorting and packing of food rations and donations in kind.
4. Monitor and replenish stocks for new admission starter kit and kitchen provisions for residents.
5. Support the RS in administering keys, working out the pantry allocation, laundry scheduling with new admissions and ensuring documentation is completed.
6. Perform guardhouse duty as assigned, with flexibility to changes in shift.
7. Be vigilant and report any incidents of concern.
8. To attend to emergencies after the shelter operating hours and inform management accordingly.
9. To monitor and update residents attendance and movement record.
10. Open files for new admissions and transfer files upon discharge.
11. To update the MSF daily muster record and ensure information entered is up to date.
12. Be involved in programmes for residents when needed.
13. To perform other related duties that may be assigned by the RS or Centre Director.

Requirements:
- At least secondary education
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Mature with previous overseas work experience
- Need to work 3 shifts
- Able to stay in as a residential staff
Salary:
$2,400.00 Monthly
