Job Description
Position: ZiChar food stall Chef
Schedule: 6 days’ work per week
Working hour: 11am - 10pm (Monday to Sunday)
Monthly: $2400 - $2800
Job Description:
We are looking for a chef is responsible for preparing stir-fried dishes quickly and accurately using traditional Chinese techniques. Precision, speed, and culinary skill are essential in this fast-paced role. Other than that, you need to ensure the quality and presentation, and maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment. You need to assist in menu planning, ordering supplies, and training kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
• Cooking
• Preparing of food ingredients for cooking
• Maintaining cleanliness at every workstation
• Assist Head Chefs with creation and preparation of Chinese cuisine.
• Ensure that quality, quantity, and correctness of food items served and displayed are as per company’s and Chef’s standard recipes
• Responsible for food and menu planning, organizing event menu, food costing and quality control.
• Check that quantity and quality of items ordered are received and stored in proper condition.
• Ensuring highest quality of food served in the appropriate time frame.
• Ensure that all food production meets/exceeds standards
• Ensure that food handling and hygiene regulations are followed in accordance with NEA standards.
• Organising, cleaning and storing kitchen utensils in their proper place
• Other ad-hoc duties as requested.

Requirements:
• Experience cooking with a wok in a high-volume kitchen
• Knowledge of Chinese ingredients, sauces, and methods
• Ability to work quickly under pressure
• Physical stamina, honesty, and attention to details.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Able to lead and is a team player
• Able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
