Full Time Barista

We are looking for someone who is passionate about coffee, hospitable, and great at creating incredible guest experiences grounded in care and respect. You will help with Alchemist's daily operations in all our outlets (International Plaza, Khong Guan Building, Hong Leong Building, The Mill, CIMB Plaza, 71 Robinson, The Hereen, Asia Square,Ocean Financial Center and Funan). We invite you to grow as a family and create a community through coffee with us.

You will
• Deliver exceptional hospitality to our. guests, fellow colleagues, and all of our vendors and suppliers
• Make and serve a selection of delicious beverages with a variety of different brewing and preparation methods
• Stay knowledgeable about Alchemist's current beverage offerings and preparation techniques, continuously cultivating your own curiosity and knowledge through in-house tastings, cuppings, and trainings
• Taste our coffee regularly to ensure quality that upholds our standards, and to develop your palate
• Create a community in our cafes by sharing your joy and knowledge of coffee with our guests; inspire your fellow teammates to do the same
• Support the team by taking joy in the tasks that keeps the cafe running smoothly and effectively - these tasks include cleaning, clearing, washing dishes, sweeping, dusting, mopping, cleaning and organising condiment stations, and taking out trash
• Maintain proper health, food safely according to the food safety guidelines
• Promote a clean and safe workspace

You are
• Proactive and enthusiastic with an avid interest in learning and making coffee
• Outgoing personality to interact with customers
• Passionate about speciality coffee and creating an inclusive hospitality engagement
• Excited about taking on challenges and possessing a positive attitude
• Possess a valid food hygiene certificate will be an advantage

Other Information
Pay: $2,100.00 - $2,700.00 per month

Willingness to travel:
