We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, a deep understanding of both Singapore and Malaysia tax regulations, and expertise in corporate secretarial compliance matters.

The key responsibilities will include:
• Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements(including consolidated financial report, project costing), including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Stay current with Singapore and Malaysia tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and file tax returns, including GST, VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax.
• Provide expert guidance on tax planning and optimization strategies.
• Manage all corporate secretarial matters, including the maintenance of statutory records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and filing deadlines in both Singapore and Malaysia.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting and corporate secretarial professionals.
• Supervise day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with various departments to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and provide insights for financial decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial and corporate secretarial operations.
• Perform financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including cost-benefit analysis and financial modeling.
• Stay informed about changes in corporate laws and regulations in both Singapore and Malaysia.
• Ensure the company's activities are in compliance with all applicable laws.

Key Skillsets and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or MICPA is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Accountant, preferably in Malaysia.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standard (FRS) / Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and Singapore / Malaysia tax regulations. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel (automation / AI).

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
