Job Description
The key responsibilities will include:
• Identify and assess potential merger and acquisition opportunities aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, risk assessment, and valuation of target companies.
• Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for executive review.
• Lead due diligence efforts, coordinating cross-functional teams including legal, finance, and operations.
• Develop and execute detailed project plans for each transaction, ensuring timelines are met.
• Collaborate with external advisors and negotiate deal terms and contracts.
• Manage the integration process post-acquisition, working closely with relevant stakeholders.
• Build complex financial models to assess potential returns, synergies, and risks associated with M&A transactions.
• Perform sensitivity and scenario analysis to inform decision-making.
• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with M&A transactions and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's M&A strategy.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify potential targets and growth areas.
• Supervise and mentor junior members of the M&A team, providing guidance and support.
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
• Providing coaching to junior team members
Key Skillsets and Requirements:
• Minimum 5 - 8 years corporate finance, corporate/business development, M&A role; with large corporates and/or investment banks / Big 4 transaction services
• Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Excellent project management and negotiation abilities.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Collaborative hands-on working style, focused on achievements
• Adaptable, tenacious, self starter and self reliant
