Store Assistant

Job Description
The Store Assistant plays a vital role in the efficient operation of the warehouse by assisting with the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. The position requires close attention to detail, effective communication skills, and adherence to safety and organizational procedures. The Store Assistant will ensure that inventory is managed accurately and that goods are handled with care. Details of the key responsibilities are as follows:
1. Inspect incoming shipments, verify quantity and quality, and label cartons.
2. Store items in designated warehouse locations following inventory protocols, ensuring proper stacking and storage to maximize space and prevent damage.
3. Pick and verify items for orders (consignment or purchase), pack them securely, and label them correctly for delivery.
4. Inspect and process returned goods, update inventory records, and follow company policies for restocking, disposal, or returns to suppliers.
5. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, adhere to 5S principles, and promptly address housekeeping issues to ensure safety and efficiency.
6. Monitor inventory levels, collaborate with other departments, participate in stock audits, and maintain effective communication and organizational skills.
7. Perform any additional tasks assigned by the company.

Job Requirements
1. Basic computer knowledge
2. Must be trustworthy
3. Physically fit

Salary Package
Basic ($1800 to $2200 depending on skills and working experiences) + Incentives + Variable bonus
