Job Description
Provide a Safe and Nurturing Environment:
Create a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment for infants.
Ensure the physical and emotional wellbeing of each child through attentive care.
Follow all safety protocols and hygiene standards.
Nurture Early Development:
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.
Observe and document each child's progress, maintaining detailed records.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's development and needs.
Build Relationships:
Develop trusting and nurturing relationships with each infant.
Foster positive interactions among children, promoting social skills development.
Collaborate effectively with other teachers and childcare staff.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist with feeding, diapering, and other daily routines.
Maintain accurate records and complete reports as required.
Stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements:
- Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
- A team player with passion and interest in caring for and developing infants
- Basic computer skills would be an added advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skill
- CPR and First Aid certified (preferred)
