Job Description
2. The Lead Quantity Surveyor shall lead the team in the the following works:
-Prepare cost estimation, endorse and ensure timely submission to Customer’s Superintending Officer for approval,
-Prepare financial projection and carry out budgetary and expenditure control of Contractor’s works,
-Prepare monthly payment claims and certify Term Contracts and ensure timely and complete submissions to the Customer’s Superintending Officer for payment
-Evaluate Contractors claims (including Payment Certificate (COP), ensure they are correct in accordance with the Maintenance Term Contracts and Contract Price/ contract rates,
-Review and finalize all draft Final Account (FA) of Term Contracts and prepare the draft Final Account of MA Contract for submission to the Customer for vetting.
-Evaluate, verify and recommend “star rate items” submitted by Contractors, before the start of works, are reasonable and in accordance with fair market prices for the Superintending Officer’s acceptance, and
-R5ecords all-star rates and quotation rates, analyze and review for future use.
-Prepare tender documents/specifications
-Provide advice on contractual claims, disputes and cost variations
-Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders on cost related matter.
Requirements
Compulsory Qualification & Experience:
The Lead Quantity Surveyor (QS) should be an Accredited or Registered member with the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers with a minimum of 5 years of relevant local working experiences
