Job Description

Overview: As a cargo customer service and operational staff member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service within our cargo department. You will be responsible for handling inquiries, coordinating shipments, and managing logistics to guarantee timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
• Provide accurate information about cargo services, rates, schedules, and policies.
• Assist customers with booking, tracking, and updating shipments.
• Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively, striving for customer satisfaction.
Operational Support:
• Coordinate with Dnata warehouse staff to ensure timely loading and unloading of cargo.
• Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and other relevant paperwork.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are progressing according to schedule.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to arrange transportation and logistics.
Administrative Tasks:
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and any issues encountered.
• Prepare reports on cargo volumes, service performance, and customer feedback as needed.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock counts, replenishment of ULD and reconciliation.

Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards, including those related to hazardous materials, customs, and security.
• Stay informed about changes in regulations or industry best practices and implement necessary updates or training.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service or operations, preferably in cargo or logistics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and cargo management systems.
• Knowledge of international shipping procedures and regulations preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Education:
• Diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional certification or training in logistics or supply chain management is advantageous.
Salary:
3.000,00 SGD Monthly
